Established by Dr. John Taylor in 1992, and later joined by Dr. Jyoti Sharma in 2020, John Taylor Pediatric Dentistry has been dedicated to providing exceptional pediatric dental care to the East Cobb community.

Our staff of hygienists, pediatric and orthodontic assistants are here to help you and your child with their dental and orthodontic experiences. About Office Policies & Hours
Scheduling Appointment
Our office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience and when time is available. Preschool children will be scheduled in the morning because they are fresher and we can work slowly with your child to make them comfortable. Our office is an “on schedule office” and we make every effort to keep scheduled times. Dental appointments are considered excused absences from school.
Orthodontic appointments are scheduled any time of the day with early morning and afternoon times available. More Information on contact page
Appointment Cancellations
We understand if sickness or emergencies may prevent you from making a scheduled appointment. As a courtesy to others, please call us 48 hours prior to your child’s appointment should you need to reschedule. There could be a missed appointment charge if 24 hours notice is not given. We confirm our appointments using an innovative interactive computer system.
Our office is open Monday through Thursday.
Monday & Tuesday – 9:00 to 5:30
Wednesday & Thursday – 8:00 to 4:30
We go to lunch everyday from 1:00 to 2:00.
Our Summer -time schedule is 8:30 to 5:00 everyday.
If you have a dental emergency outside our normal hours, please call our office at 770-973-7687 and you will be directed in how to reach Dr. Taylor.
Financial policies
Our office is a Speciality Children’s Dental practice geared to providing optimum dental care for children and young adults without the constraints of third party insurance companies, therefore we do not take insurance assignment as payments. Payments are expected as services are rendered and the person bringing the child to our office is the person financially responsible for their account. We will gladly help you receive prompt reimbursement from your insurance company by providing the necessary insurance forms you will need to file your dental claims. We accept MasterCard or Visa for your convenience.
Orthodontic fees
Orthodontic fees vary according to the complexity and time involved for each individualized case. Since orthodontic care is provided over a period of time, a specific payment plan can be arranged.
