Commitment to the community

I am fortunate to live in such a wonderful community. We have great schools in Marietta and East Cobb along with a rich community culture which makes this a great place to live, work and raise a family. I believe in giving back to the community, and showing my support for all the families who have always supported our practice. I am a founding member of “The 1998 Society” at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

I am the only dental member of this philanthropic organization made up of eighty-one staff physicians committed to raising money for medical research and development at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

For the past 17 years, our office has dedicated every Halloween Day in service to Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital. Our office staff dress in Halloween costumes and hand out gift bags filled with toys and prizes to children having to spend Halloween day in the hospital. We are always well received by the kids, parents and hospital staff. Scottish Rite Hospital highlighted our volunteer work in their community newsletter.

For the past 19 years, during Children’s Dental Health Month one of our staff members dedicates over fifty hours to teach good oral health habits to local school children. “Miss Judy” has become very popular among the local school teachers as she typically will see about 1,600 school children a year in the community. Our office has been recognized by the Georgia Dental Associations “Action Newsletter” for providing this outstanding service.

My wife and I support the “Make-A-Wish Foundation” and have worked to get one sick child’s wish come true of owning a horse. We also are dedicated to working closely with the Georgia Equine Rescue League to find homes for abused and neglected horses.

Outside of the practice, I am blessed with such a wonderful family. I have a great wife and two wonderful grown children. We have two beautiful grandchildren. When I am away from the practice, I enjoy spending time with my family. My wife and I both enjoy playing golf, gardening and traveling. She is an accomplished rider and I enjoy painting.

“Your smile is a masterpiece, and we’re here to help you keep it shining bright!”
