Established by Dr. John Taylor in 1992, and later joined by Dr. Jyoti Sharma in 2020, Children's Dentistry of East Cobb has been dedicated to providing exceptional pediatric dental care to the East Cobb community.

Dr. Sharma takes a personalized and caring approach to pediatric dentistry, tailoring each child's care to their individual needs while emphasizing preventive techniques through education.

Dr. Jyoti Sharma

DMD — Orthodontist & Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Sharma has distinguished herself by becoming Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, treating both children and adults. She is one of only a few orthodontists in the U.S. who is also a board-certified pediatric dentist — dual trained.

She finished her Doctor of Dental Medicine and Pediatric Dentistry Residency at the prestigious Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Boston University. As a dual specialist, she focuses on growth and development of growing children and has developed her ability to make precise decisions to utilize the growth potential of both upper and lower jaws.

Office Policies & Hours

Scheduling Appointments

Our office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience. Preschool children will be scheduled in the morning because they are fresher and we can work slowly with your child to make them comfortable. Our office is an "on schedule office" and we make every effort to keep scheduled times.

Cancellations

We understand if sickness or emergencies may prevent you from making a scheduled appointment. As a courtesy to others, please call us 48 hours prior to your child's appointment should you need to reschedule. There could be a missed appointment charge if 24 hours notice is not given.

Office Hours

Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday: 7:00am to 2:00pm
Thursday: 10:00am to 5:00pm

If you have a dental emergency outside our normal hours, please call our office at 770-973-7687 and you will be directed in how to reach the doctor.

Financial Policies

Our office is a specialty children's dental practice. Payments are expected as services are rendered and the person bringing the child to our office is the person financially responsible for their account. We will gladly help you receive prompt reimbursement from your insurance company by providing the necessary forms. We accept MasterCard or Visa for your convenience.
